Due to the structure's small size in relation to the body, scale comes not from an objective physicality, but in excavating one's psychophysiological space. The work also maintains a ritualistic aspect through the use of a circular portal that many viewers can see down while facing each other. Circular sounds of glass singing emanates from the structure to draw the participant towards it in the darkened space. It serves to drown out ambient noise and focus the participant on the experience unfolding. |
